Brothers and Realities

So I wake up to a 6:30 a.m. text from my brother:

“Riddle me this, if our imagination in one way or another has the ability to generate reality, from where is our imagination generated, reality, or our perception of it?”

Reaction número uno: Uf. Good morning. Reaction número dos: WHAT?

So he says: “I read your blog.”

Reaction número tres: That is nice. My brother loves me, and I feel validated. It IS a good morning.

Then I have to think and all that.

Answer: Both/and. That we can perceive is a reality. Our imagination is generated from both reality and our ability (or lack thereof) to perceive reality (with any level of accuracy), a process that is a reality in itself (I.e. It is true that this occurs). Scientists and people like that know all the details about this stuff but regardless it happens.

So then I remember to text my other brother:

A little less profound of a conversation but a it happened nonetheless.
